I had a lot of complicated feelings about it, more than I have about most things, to be honest, which is nonzero, and I sort of convinced myself that I wanted to feel how a lot of different people made me feel, and also that I wanted to see if it felt as weird with someone I hadn't been with before. And then you were there.

[Corbin is just genuinely confused. He's definitely not against violence, but he doesn't think that's the answer here. It sounds like Vax had gone through some rough shit, and while Corbin was feeling... some kind of not great about the results, it didn't mean he wanted to punch the other guy.]

The sound doesn't move away, he's bringing the tome with him, just in case Vax wants to keep talking, but he doesn't want to stay in his room right now.]
