It most resembles a large jewelry box, wide and flat, maybe twelve inches wide, four high, and eight across. It has a lock on it, the key resting inside the slot, and the wood is richly stained a dark brown. More importantly, it's carved all over with the holy symbols of every religion someone could think of, many of them not from earth.]
