[ Looking up when his hand was taken, he slowly curled his fingers and watched Corbins face. The menu was put down and it felt like some of the walls had been brought down with it. ]
[That gets a grin out of Corbin, and he runs a thumb over the tops of Noah's knuckles as the dryad waitress comes up to get their orders.]
Oh, yeah. Um, a double chili cheese fries, and one of your Deluxe burgers. With all the toppings. Bacon, cheese, all the veggies, mustard, mayo, ketchup, whatever else you got back there that could fit on top. Oh yeah, and a fried egg, over easy. Just one.
[He gave her a grin at the disbelieving look]
Thank you ma'am. Oh, and a cherry coke to drink, please.
[he looks over at Noah as the waitress turns to him, clearly hoping that his order wasn't going to involve half the kitchen]
[ Noah blinked a few times but really it just sounded more complicated than it was. He stifled a laugh somewhere in the middle of it and glanced at the paper with the order briefly before watching that grin spread over Corbins face.
Yeah, he would have been one of them.
Closing his menu he held up up and hummed. ]
Just a waffle, side of a hash browns and....iced coffee. Extra whip. ...and caramel. Thank you.
[ Cause sweet coffee was life and he needed the energy. ]

Well, I would. I'd get over it, cause I ain't gonna make you feel like shit over it. But yeah, I'd be disappointed.
[He paused for a second, and then reached across the table to, if the other boy didn't move his hand, slide his hand into Noah's free one.]
Look, this ain't goin how I was plannin it in my head, so lemme start over.
Hey Noah, you wanna go on a date to Staxx? My treat.
[Because no, Noah with his sweet smiles didn't get to talk about how he wasn't worth a damn date.]
no subject
Yes. I would.
[ Smiling a little, he raised his brows. ]
Better order something good cause you’re sharing.

I could probably make a joke 'bout you not needin anymore sugar cause you're already too sweet.
[Which was corny as hell but sue him, Noah had said he wanted a date? He was getting a date.]
no subject
I’m not that sweet, actually.

[But as far as he was concerned that was just kind of how food worked. He was fully planning on stealing some of Noah's hashbrowns]

[ Actually that was pretty scary. ]
Before I died I was kind of a shit, to be honest. Dying mellowed me out. And now I’m sort of....finding a happy medium, I guess.
[ Looking at their hands again he curled his fingers, tracing each of Corbins fingers lightly. ]
